The world premiere of Cubamerican is finally upon us. We are all anticipating the moment when the lights go down and we hear the first strands of Carlos Jose Alvarez's beautiful score and the first image appears on screen. It will be a highly emotional experience for all of us who have given heart and soul to this project for the last four years. We hope it becomes an emotional journey for all of those who will watch it.

Our composer, Carlos José Alvarez and our editor Victor P. Alvarez have arrived at Cinequest. Our executive producer, Patti Coleman, will be here in an hour and our director of photography, Kimby Caplan, and one of our producers Daniel Bellas will arrive tomorrow morning. We even have friends from as far as NYC coming to share tomorrow's historic celebration with us.
